February is "Women in Horror" month!

If your valentine heart leaks, it may be because February is "Women in Horror" month, which celebrates women in the horror industry. I'm going to expand the definition to include literature.

Here are some of my favorite women authors who write horror and some examples of their works, from old favorites to new up-and-comers:
