Celebrate Porter Public Library's 140th birthday with us on Sunday, December 15! We will have a Leonard Porter portrait scavenger hunt, trivia and a holiday cookie bake-off in addition to our usual array of services and materials.
Attend LIVE talks from best-selling authors and thought leaders in the comfort of your own home with Virtual Author Talks from the Library Speakers Consortium and Westlake Porter Public Library. New authors are added every month and past talks are archived for access at your convenience.
The library is undergoing a series of improvement projects including creating a dedicated Young Adult area in Youth Services, reorganization of Circulation, and opening of the second floor to the public. In addition, self-service coffee and other vending options will be available this winter.
Borrow a jigsaw puzzle and return it when you are finished! Find an assortment of puzzles across from the Circulation desk. If you would like to donate a puzzle (with all its pieces) for others to enjoy, put it in one of the library's book drops.
