Around the World With Nellie Bly
Explore the life and legacy of Elizabeth Cochran Seaman (1864-1922), known by her pen name, Nellie Bly. An American journalist who became famous for her brave reporting during the Victorian Era, Seaman took a record-breaking trip around the world in 72 days in 1889. Her investigative journalism also uncovered the deplorable conditions of asylums, as chronicled in her exposé Ten Days in a Mad-House.
