Winter Reading Challenge

Winter Reading Challenge is back for all ages! Track each day that you read or listen to a book from January 2–February 14 to earn ticket entries for the grand prize. Register on Beanstack or pick up a paper reading log at the Ask Us or Youth Services desks.

It's easier than ever to fit the library into your busy fall schedule with our Story Stack service. Fill out the online form and Youth Services librarians will select a stack of materials curated for your family. Once you are notified, you can pick up your items at the drive-up window.

WPPL is proud to offer the Myrna Chelko Literacy InitiativesLittle Sprouts for children ages 4 and under and Reading Is Elementary for kids in grades K-4. Participating in these initiatives will help build the habits that foster lifelong learning—plus there are fabulous prizes!

New Teen Area Rendering

The library is undergoing a series of improvement projects including creating a dedicated Young Adult area in Youth Services, reorganization of Circulation, and opening of the second floor to the public. In addition, self-service coffee and other vending options will be available this winter.
