The Couponing Librarian, 06/06/2011: Watch This Video!

Stephanie Nelson, known as the Coupon Mom and author of Greatest Secrets of the Coupon Mom (Los Angeles, CA: DPL Press, Inc., 2005) and The Coupon Mom's Guide to Cutting Your Grocery Bills in Half: The Strategic Shopping Method Proven to Slash Food and Drugstore Costs (New York, NY: Penguin Group, 2009), has been helping people for 10 years save money using coupons. What's especially notable, though, is her regular emphasis on donating items acquired through couponing. In this clip that aired today on Fox 5 in Atlanta, where she lives, Ms. Nelson explains the impact your donation has on your area food pantry, how you can get children involved, and the couponing program she recently initiated with Procter & Gamble.

Women's and men's shelters not only need food, but also drugstore items, especially products like shampoo. This week at CVS, you can use your ExtraCare card not only to get two John Frieda hair care products for free, but also to make $3!
