Big wins for Adele, Chance the Rapper, and the late David Bowie were interspersed with performances that included tributes, collaborations, and political statements. Here is a recap of the night with some listening suggestions available at WPPL!
If you didn't get a chance to watch the entire broadcast of the 59th Annual Grammy Awards last night, no one can blame you: The show was four hours long, ending at midnight! James Corden, no stranger to music's big stars thanks to Carpool Karaoke, was the host for the evening. Katy Perry, A Tribe Called Quest, and Anderson Paak delivered performances with obvious political messages. Several country singers were featured as live performers this year, including Grammy winners Maren Morris and Sturgill Simpson. Bruno Mars proved he is one of the best showmen in the business with his tribute to Prince and a performance of his own music as well. Adele beat Beyonce for many of the big awards for the night, and Chance the Rapper walked away with the Grammy for Best New Artist. Below are some of the Grammy winners you can listen to courtesy of WPPL. We have Audio CDs as well as two online music services, Hoopla and Freegal!
