Friends of the Library
Board Member (Volunteer)
The “Friends of WPPL” is a non-profit association dedicated to the support and nurturing of Westlake Porter Public Library. Friends volunteers run the annual book sales, work at the Portables Gift Shop and coordinate and plan public programs. Each year, Friends provide funding to the library to purchase special items or to support library programs.
Friends Officers and Board Members work closely with the Director and other library staff to ensure coordination of activities to the mutual benefit of the library, the Friends group, and the community.
Friends is looking for new Board Members to serve on their Board of Trustees. The term of service is 2 years. The Friends of Porter Public Library meet once a month, on the 2nd Thursday at 7 p.m., at the Library. Interested parties should contact:
