A regular War at War Forum attendee, John Zylstra was a child when the Japanese invaded Indonesia and captured him and his family. Over the next three years he was interned as a prisoner. John will share his experiences as both a captive, his memories of the war, and what it was like to finally be liberated. He provides a unique window into the Second World War.
