Congratulations to all participants in the 2025 Summer Library Challenge! You still have time to pick up prizes for registration, halfway and completion at library service desks until Friday, August 15.
Join the Genre Challenge for kids in K-12th and challenge yourself to read beyond what you can imagine! Stretch your reading skills and explore new genres, or specific types of books. Sign up on Beanstack to begin strengthening your reading comprehension and sparking your imagination!
Read 100 books before graduating high school! Log your reading in Beanstack and each badge that you earn along the way is equal to one entry into a quarterly grand prize raffle for a gift card. Read 100 total books and earn a WPPL coffee tumbler.
WPPL accepts applications for energetic and creative teens to help with a variety of tasks and programs around the Library during two sessions every year: the summer and the academic school year. As space permits, we do accept applications on a rolling basis throughout the school year.
This is a great opportunity for teens in grades 8-12 to give back to their community, get service hours in a fun, relaxed environment, and boost their college applications!
Our Summer 2025 session is full. Check back here in late August for our academic school year (2025-26) application. Contact Youth Services with questions.
