Westlake Porter Public Library is a Selective Federal depository library. We provide free public access to a Basic Collection of Federal government information products produced and distributed by the Government Publishing Office (GPO). These information products are available in print or as digital Web-based resources.

Government Documents for Underage Patrons

In accordance with Federal Depository regulations, mediated access is available for underage patrons who wish to use depository resources. Assistance can be provided through phone service or via email by contacting Adult Services.

Federal Depository Library Program

The Government Publishing Office through the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) distributes certain classes of Government documents free of cost to designated libraries. The FDLP was established by Congress to ensure that the American public has access to its' Government's information.
