The Friends of Porter Public Library invite all ages to a Fall Fest Party on Saturday, October 5 from 1–4 p.m. in the Friends Pavilion. There will be costumed characters, photo ops, free apples and books, crafts, and a cakewalk!

The library is undergoing a series of improvement projects including creating a dedicated Young Adult area in Youth Services, reorganization of Circulation, and opening of the second floor to the public. In addition, self-service coffee and other vending options will be available this winter.
