Mobile App Transition

Our new full-featured mobile app will be available late-winter and will include new features like reading recommendations, event information and registration, and meeting room booking, in addition to the features you have come to love such as a virtual library card, My Account management and easy catalog searching.

In the meantime, we encourage patrons to use our temporary mobile app. We have setup instructions for both Android and iPhone users.

SearchOhio and OhioLINK Requests

SearchOhio borrowing has been restored!

  • SearchOhio requests may be placed via links in the new Aspen Discovery catalog.
  • Please search our Aspen catalog for materials first, then follow the links to SearchOhio for titles not owned by WPPL.

Requests via OhioLINK remain temporarily unavailable.

Interlibrary loan requests can be made for items that are not available from either WPPL or SearchOhio.

Catalog Lists

If you used the list-making feature in our old catalog, those lists were automatically migrated to our new catalog system on November 20. Any changes made to your lists after November 20 were not transfered to our new Catalog.

    • What is SearchOhio? / What is OhioLINK?

      Westlake Porter Public Library is a member of SearchOhio, a sharing consortium that lets WPPL customers borrow from the collections of other public libraries across the state. You can use SearchOhio to request items we don't own in our collection and have them delivered to the Westlake library.

      OhioLINK is a similar consortium of college and university libraries around the state of Ohio.
