Thursday Night Book Discussion

Join us as we launch a new discussion group on Thursday evenings. We will meet on the 1st Thursday evening of every other month at 7 pm— March, May, July, September & November. Every day, Monday through Friday, we'll send you a portion of a book that takes only five minutes to read. Each Monday we begin a new book. Subscribe to the clubs that pique your interest—from mystery and romance to business and classics. Just give us your email address and five minutes a day, and we'll give you an exciting world of reading.

Next Chapter Book Club

WPPL hosts the Next Chapter Book Club! NCBC is an opportunity for adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities to make friends, enjoy books and have fun on a regular basis.

Club spots are limited and if you are interested in joining a club, or if you are interested in helping us provide NCBC to the community by facilitating a club, please contact the Special Needs Resource Librarian at 440-250-5471 for information.

Book Club In a Bag

Bag and books for Book Club In a BagWe also have Book Club in a Bag sets that you can check out for your own book discussion group. To help book clubs thrive, we offer sets of pre-selected fiction and nonfiction books available for a six-week loan period.

The sets contain several copies of "discuss-able" titles re-purposed from our collections and include questions and other supplemental materials to enrich your discussion. You can request a Book Club in a Bag through the Ask Us desk or by placing a hold in the online catalog.

We have bags especially for Children, Teens, Adults and Large Print.
