This Presidents Day, join us as Mel Maurer portrays President Abraham Lincoln and delivers the famous Gettysburg Address. Stop by the lobby between 11 AM and 1 PM to meet our 16th President.
In honor of Presidents Day and in celebration of Lincoln's birthday on February 12, the library welcomes Mel Maurer who will be portraying Abraham Lincoln in the lobby of the library from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. No registration is required.
Maurer will perform the Gettysburg Address at 11 AM, 11:30 AM, Noon, and 12:30 PM and sign copies of the Address as Lincoln. President Lincoln would enjoy talking to patrons as well as taking pictures and answering question about our nation's 16th President.
