Cat has been researching and writing for Westlake Porter Public Library's blog since June 2023; her biggest series of themed blogs is Nostalgic Showcase Presents, which covers defunct and forgotten studios, publishers, and content from our childhoods. In this program, Cat covers the roots of the American film industry, from the late 1800s through 1930, the major studios that paved the path for future filmmakers, and the cultural and international impact of those early films.
