The World at War Forum is proud to present "An Evening with Eleanor Roosevelt" presented by the talented Ruth Pangrace. Ruth presents the story of Eleanor Roosevelt, the wife of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. She was never content to just be his wife. Together they formed a formidable duo as she became heavily involved with FDR's re-election campaigns, but also involved with charitable works, the League of Women Voters, and held press conferences for women reporters and travelled giving lectures explaining New Deal Initiatives.
Women in History is dedicated to the education of all people, regardless of age, race or socio-economic status through the dramatic recreation of the lives of notable women in history. Women in History began in Lakewood, Ohio in 1991 and each of the character portrayals involves large amounts of research, interviews with historians and biographers, and when possible visiting locales their subjects visited and lived in.
