Westlake Porter Public Library
Friends PavilionEveryone has a story to tell. Celebrate community storytelling through the timeless art of sharing experiences and your personal origin story.
The library invites you to explore the art of storytelling through a welcoming, inclusive program celebrating creativity, culture, memory, and connection. The first portion of the program will be interactive and will feature small-group writing activities. In the second half, participants are invited to share their origin stories. Talks will be limited to three-minutes per participant. We look forward to hearing your stories and building community together.
Some questions to get your creativity flowing:
- What makes you YOU?
- Who had an impact on your life?
- What events shaped who you are today?
