Storytime RoomLearn how to finger knit & create a simple knitted rope after listening to a story connecting this skill to literature. This is a high-interest/low-capacity program. Please join the wait list.
Grades 3-5. Caregivers are encouraged to stay for the program to learn the knitting techniques and assist their child(ren). Knitting helps kids develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, self-confidence, patience, and focus – skills used in reading and writing.
Please register each participating child separately to the wait list.
This program uses our high-interest/low-capacity registration process to help ensure fair access to programs with limited space and supplies. Everyone who signs up will start on the waitlist. Closer to the program date, priority will be given to those who haven’t attended a high-interest/low-capacity program in the past 30 days. If spots are still available, they’ll be filled in order of sign-up date and time. If you’re moved to registered status, we’ll notify you before the program.
This program is limited to 10 seats.
