Speak & Lead: Impromptu Speaking & Delegation
High-Interest/Low-Capacity Program
Saturday, October 03
9:45am - 10:45am
Westlake Porter Public Library
Porter RoomLearn the fundamentals of Impromptu Speaking and Delegation with the Toastmasters. This is a high-interest/low-capacity program. Please join the wait list.
Ever been caught off guard and asked to "just say a few words"? Or struggled to hand off a task without hovering over every detail? This session tackles both: the mental tricks that turn panic into poise when speaking without preparation, and the mindset shift that turns control into confidence when leading a team.
Bonus: All participants are invited to join a Toastmasters meeting from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, right after this program. It's optional, but it's the perfect low-pressure space to put your new impromptu speaking skills into action, and it's a lot of fun!
This program is designed by Toastmasters International and will be presented by members of local Toastmasters clubs.
