This year, Cleveland International Film Festival, or CIFF45Streams, will take place online April 7-20, 2021. Here at Westlake Porter Public Library, we are very happy to support the festival as a Community Partner for the film A Costume for Nicolas. This (2D) animated film is an uplifting family-friendly adventure. Nicolas, a ten-year-old who has Down syndrome, has a special trunk filled with costumes which magically keep bad dreams away. A Costume for Nicolas was filmed in Mexico, in Spanish, and is being shown at the festival in English (dubbed).

When you are ready to purchase a ticket to A Costume for Nicolas, or any other film streaming at CIFF45, go to clevelandfilm.org, click on “FILM FESTIVAL” and you can find films using the A-Z guide. Once you click on a film, you can purchase tickets directly from that film's page on the site. And don’t forget to use discount code PORTER to receive $1.00 off per ticket. Also, keep an eye on our social media pages for videos, blogs, and other craft ideas that will be posted throughout the 45th Cleveland International Film Festival.

This craft bag is provided in partnership with The Up Side of Downs, also a Community Partner for A Costume for Nicolas. The Up Side of Downs of Northeast Ohio is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide support, education and advocacy for individuals with Down syndrome, their families and communities.
