Join dancer & instructor Kaitie Fox for a fun beginners Bachata workshop!
Bachata (originally meaning an informal gathering among family and friends) is a style of dance that originated in the Dominican Republic around the 60s as a rural dance. Over time it has become a world-wide phenomenon, and now you have the opportunity to learn it! In this workshop we will learn the foundations of partner dancing, the flavor of Bachata dancing, and dance together to a variety of Bachata musical genres. In the spirit of the original meaning of Bachata, we keep it informal, fun, and family friendly. Let's dance together!
