Join us for a program which combines the classes First Aid and Stop the Bleed. Check-in starts at 5:45 PM. Class starts at 6:00 PM. Class led by certified instructors from St. John Medical Center.
The Heartsaver First Aid course trains participants in first aid basics for the most common emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills. Learn:
Gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and intervene effectively. The person next to a bleeding victim may be the one who's most likely to save him or her. Take the course and become empowered to make a life-or-death difference when a bleeding emergency occurs.
Registration button will take you to the UH site. Under "Choose Location," select Westlake Porter Library. Participants under the age of 14 must have a parent or legal guardian in class.
