Join our support groups and meet families facing similar concerns. For all in-person programs, free, supervised children’s activities are available, but adults and children must register separately.
Dr. Ross W. Greene’s ground-breaking book, The Explosive Child, has become a model for helping families to overcome their child's challenging behavior. Join Karla Fitch, MSW, of Connecting for Kids, for this four-week, peer-led book club that begins with an in-person session and then meets virtually to explore the book together. Each week, we'll discuss different sections of the book and support each other as we learn to use collaborative and proactive problem-solving with our children. Families who commit to participating in this book club can check out a copy of the book from Westlake Porter Public Library at the first session.
