The library will be CLOSED Friday, July 4, 2025, in observance of Independence Day.
Friends of Porter Public Library fund library programs and activities, purchase special equipment and materials for the library, contribute to renovation costs, and sponsor programs designed to add to the social and cultural life of the community.
Nancy Shaw, Cathy Schultz, Alice Lang, Carol Masek and Steve Pettyjohn planted the Porter Library flower box on Hilliard Boulevard on May 17. The flower box is planted and maintained every year by the volunteers of the Friends of Porter Public Library.
ALL children's books and children's DVDs in the Book Nook Used Bookstore are HALF PRICE during the month of June. Stop by for deals on summer reading books, movies for rainy days and more!
The mission of the WPPL Foundation is to ensure perpetual financial support for the Westlake Porter Public Library in order to benefit current and future generations within the local community.
