Learn how to restore comics so they can be enjoyed for years to come, with lifelong comic book collector Cat. Grade 9 - Adult
Paper memorabilia breaks down over time, and with wear and tear, nothing is more prone to destruction than children's comic books. In her ten plus years of collecting comics from the 1950s through the 1990s, Cat has found some of the best ways to preserve and restore even the most loved books in her collection.
A selection of her vintage comic book collection will be available to be gently handled after the presentation.
This program is a Lead-off Event to Free Comic Book Day on May 3.
