This program is intended for tweens and teens, but adults are welcome. Operation Comic Book promotes literacy of all kinds using comic books while providing demonstrations on sequential art storytelling. Since 2009, Operation Comic Book has distributed over 50,000 free comic books and over 2,000 individuals have made a comic.
This program is a Lead-off Event to Free Comic Book Day on May 3.
