A “Bite by Bite” Celebration
Part of Bite Into Books
Saturday, April 25
10:00am - 12:00pm
Westlake Porter Public Library
Porter RoomEnjoy syrup tasting, butter-blending, and waffle decoration stations inspired by the book, "Bite by Bite" by Aimee Nezhukumatathil, an NEA Big Read.
Inspired by Bite by Bite: Nourishments and Jamborees, Aimee Nezhukumatathil’s essay collection on the foods that shape our stories, we invite you to drop in and celebrate the book at our different stations:
- Try the different grades of maple syrup;
- Explore different flavor combinations at the butter-blending station;
- Decorate your own waffle — one to eat and one to display as a work of art.
Ingredients may contain allergens and are available while supplies last.
