The World at War Forum, in partnership with the Westlake Porter Public Library, presents D-Day Reenactors from the 502 PIR, Baker Company, 101st Reeneactors.
Early in the morning of June 6, 1944, American paratroopers of the 101st Airborne Division jumped into France to secure key objectives and to prepare the way for successful landings on the Normandy beaches.
At this meeting of the World at War Forum, we will welcome members of Baker Company who portray paratroopers from the 101st Airborne Division. They will share their 2019 trip to Normandy France and will bring along period accurate gear used by paratroopers during World War II.
