Ann Rule is a pillar in the True Crime world. We couldn't settle on just one title so this month. So everyone will read a book of their choice and gather together to discuss Rule's work.
A great way to discover and discuss new and classic true crime writing—from murder, to robbery, heists and arson—we touch on every aspect of humanity's darker instincts.
This month the True Crime Book Club is doing something a little bit different. Ann Rule is best known for her book chronicling her time spent working in a call center next to Ted Bundy. She has written many books exploring true crime and serial killers. Instead of the group reading the same title we will all pick a book of Rule's that interests us and then gather to discuss what her books have in common. This will give us all a chance to explore Ann Rule's various titles.
We meet on the third Monday of every other month starting in January. View and print the list of books and check out WPPL's Book Discussion page for more book and movie clubs!
