This workshop is for writers of all genres looking to deepen their craft or are still brainstorming a project. Ages 18 and up. Registration required.
Voice can be a powerful element of fiction that captivates readers and keeps them, but how? In this generative and discussion-based workshop we will talk about unforgettable voices in fiction and how their voices use tone, rhythm, and point of view to keep readers interested. Through readings, writing exercises, and craft conversations, writers will walk a way with a better understanding of how their own voice can strengthen their work. They will play with voice elements like point of view, grammar, and tone to see its impact.
