We will meet on the 3rd Monday of ever other month starting in January. This will be a great way to discover new and classic True Crime writing.
Join us for an exciting new book club at the Westlake Porter Public Library. We'll be delving into new and classic books of true crime—from murder, to robbery, heists, and arson we will touch on every aspect of humanity's darker instincts.
At our upcoming meetings we will discuss the following books:
May 16, 2022: John Douglas and Mark Olshaker's recent "When a Killer Calls: A Haunting Story of Murder, Criminal Profiling, and Justice in a Small Town."
July 18, 2022: James Renner's: "Amy: My Search for Her Killer: Secrets and Suspects in the Unsolved Murder of Amy Mihaljevic."
September 19, 2022: Sarah Weinman, "Scoundrel : how a convicted murderer persuaded the women who loved him, the conservative establishment, and the courts to set him free."
